EA FC 27 Web App Is Live: Start Trading Before Launch
The EA FC 27 Web App went live on 16 September. Here is what you can do on it right now, who actually gets early access, why the transfer market is a separate unlock, and why launch week matters for trading.

The EA FC 27 Web App went live on 16 September 2026, and the Companion App followed on 17 September. Both let you manage your Ultimate Team club from a browser or phone well before the full game unlocks: open pre-order packs, build your squad, work through SBCs and — if your account has transfer market access — trade. Our EA FC 27 sniping bot already runs on it, so the launch market is open to automated trading from day one.

In short

  • Web App: live since 16 September

  • Companion App: live since 17 September

  • Early Access, Ultimate Edition: 18 September

  • Worldwide release: 25 September

  • Early access depends on your previous Ultimate Team club, and transfer market access is separate again

  • The sniping bot and autobuyer work on the Web App from day one

What the Web App actually does

The Web App is not the game. It is the club-management layer of Ultimate Team, which is why EA opens it first: everything that matters for trading is there, and nothing that needs a match engine is.

You can

You cannot

Open packs from your pre-order and rewards

Play matches

Buy and sell on the transfer market

Use Rivals, Champs or Rush

Complete SBCs

Open packs you have not earned

Build and edit your squad

Stay logged into the game at the same time

That last one trips people up every year: you cannot use the Web App while you are signed into Ultimate Team on console or PC. Back out to the main menu first, then sign in at the official EA Web App. You will also need Login Verification switched on for your EA Account, so it is worth setting up backup codes before you need them rather than in the queue on launch day.

Who gets in, and when

Early access is not automatic, and this is where most of the launch-day confusion comes from. To reach the Web App before the game unlocks, you needed an Ultimate Team club created in FC 26, FC 25 or FC 24 on your platform before 1 August 2026, that club still has to exist, and your EA Account has to be in good standing.

Transfer market access is a separate question again, and for traders it is the one that counts. Returning players who had already unlocked the market in a recent title usually carry that access across. Everyone else has to earn it in FC 27:

  • Play three complete Ultimate Team matches in one calendar day

  • Log into the Web App or Companion App on the same day, counted in UTC

  • Repeat on the required number of active days

  • Wait for the in-game message confirming the market has unlocked

A clean account with no other Ultimate Team accounts on the same device normally gets there in about two active days. If several accounts have been used on the device, expect four or more. Playing ten matches instead of three does not speed anything up, which is worth knowing before you spend an evening trying to brute-force it.

If FC 27 is your first EA SPORTS FC title, a different route applies. New players go through Graduated Access, a chain of Ultimate Team Objective Groups — The Academy Grind, then First Team Dreams, then Rising Through the Ranks — and completing that last group is what opens the transfer market. The active-day process above is not the only thing standing between a brand new account and trading. EA sets out both paths on its official help pages, and the rules do change between titles, so it is worth checking there if something does not match what you are seeing.

Why the first week matters for EA FC 27 trading

Launch week is one of the biggest trading opportunities of the cycle, and also one of the shortest. The reason is straightforward: the market has no history yet.

It is much harder to know what a card is really worth in the first few days, because there is no settled price to anchor to. At the same time, hundreds of thousands of players are opening packs and selling the contents to fund a first squad, which floods the market with listings priced on instinct rather than information. The result is an unusually wide gap between what cards are listed for and what they will be worth once prices settle.

Three things are true in week one and stop being true by October:

  1. Listings are mispriced in both directions. People panic-sell good cards and hopefully overprice bad ones, often within minutes of each other.

  2. Volume is enormous. Everyone opens packs at once, so underpriced listings keep appearing rather than arriving occasionally.

  3. Reliable filters are harder to build at launch, because a price range that worked an hour ago may already be wrong. Static filters age badly in a market that is still finding its level.

That third point is the practical problem. Sniping is not difficult in principle — you search a narrow price band and buy anything listed below it. It becomes difficult when the band itself keeps moving, which is exactly what happens for the first week or two of every cycle. Monitoring that by hand means re-checking your own assumptions as often as you re-check the market, and most people quietly stop doing the first part.

How the bot handles launch-week pricing

This is the specific workflow the autobuyer is built for, and it is worth understanding what it is doing rather than taking it on trust.

Live Filters are the answer to the moving-target problem. Instead of you maintaining price bands, the system watches the market and publishes ready-to-run filters. The list refreshes every minute, each filter lives for roughly five minutes, and every one carries a Filter Score so you can see which is worth running right now rather than guessing. In a settled market that is a convenience. In launch week, when a filter can go stale in the time it takes to make coffee, it is the difference between trading and guessing.

Auto Pricing reads buy and sell prices from the Web App itself rather than from an external database. That matters more now than at any other point in the year, because external price sites can lag behind a fast-moving launch market — they need volume of data to be accurate, and in week one that volume does not exist yet.

Both run on the Web App from day one, so there is no waiting for the console release. Once your account has Web App access and transfer market access, you can start using the bot.

New this cycle: the Help Center

Alongside the FC 27 launch we opened a Help Center in the dashboard: setup walkthroughs, filter explanations, troubleshooting and a full safety category, all searchable in one place.

If you are setting up for the first time this week, start there rather than scrolling the Discord backlog. The safety section in particular is worth ten minutes before your first session, because the limits it describes are easier to respect from the start than to retrofit later.

The FC 27 launch schedule

What opens

16 September

Web App

17 September

Companion App

18 September

Early Access, Ultimate Edition

25 September

Worldwide release, all editions

The stretch before the worldwide release is a useful window for building a coin balance, because anything you earn now can go into a squad while most of the player base is still waiting for the game. A card bought cheap today is a card you are playing with on Friday.

Frequently asked questions

Is the EA FC 27 Web App live?

Yes. It went live on 16 September 2026, and the Companion App followed on 17 September.

Do I need to own EA FC 27 to use the Web App?

Not immediately. Early access is based on having an Ultimate Team club in FC 26, FC 25 or FC 24 created before 1 August 2026, with that club still intact and your EA Account in good standing. If you do not own FC 27, you will need to log into Ultimate Team on console or PC at least once to keep using the apps beyond 7 November 2026.

Why can I not access the transfer market?

Transfer market access is granted separately from Web App access. Returning players who did not carry it over usually earn it through the active-day process: three complete Ultimate Team matches in a day, plus a Web App or Companion App login on the same UTC day, repeated across several active days. Two active days is typical for a clean account. Players completely new to EA SPORTS FC may instead need to progress through EA's Graduated Access objectives.

Does the sniping bot work on the FC 27 Web App?

Yes. The sniping bot and autobuyer run on the EA FC 27 Web App from day one, before the game unlocks on console or PC.

When does the EA FC 27 Companion App launch?

It went live on 17 September 2026, the day after the Web App.

Is there a free trial of the sniping bot?

Yes, 24 hours of full Premium access with no card required.

Where to start

If you already have market access, the useful thing to do this week is simply be present while prices are still unsettled and the gap between listed and actual value can be unusually wide.

If you want to see how the FUT Simple Trader tools behave in a market like this one, launch week is the honest time to test them. The 24-hour trial is full Premium, no card required, and a volatile market tells you far more about a set of filters than a settled one ever will.
