Those who pre-ordered the special edition of EA FC 26 already have access to the long-awaited new FUT season — everyone else will have to wait until September 26. And anyone who has already dived into it has surely noticed how many new — and returning — features have been added to the game.
One of these is Silver Stars, which remains one of the greatest Ultimate Team modes of all time — and now it’s better than ever. The Silver Stars have also received an exciting new feature: by completing certain challenges, you can now unlock silver icons!
How to Unlock FUT 26 Silver Icons
If the new challenges have caught your attention, all you need to do is launch the game, go to the Seasonal tab, and there you’ll find the challenges. For each player, you only need to complete one of the two available tasks.
Each silver player comes with two possible challenges — you can choose the one that seems easier to complete. However, be prepared: none of them will be too easy.
Below is a list of the silver icons and silver players you can unlock, along with the tasks required for each:
Lev Yashin
To unlock Lev Yashin’s silver icon, you need to:
Play at least 10 goalless matches in Squad Battles mode on Professional difficulty, with at least three silver players in your starting XI;
or
Play at least 40 matches in Squad Battles on Professional difficulty, again with at least three silver players in your starting lineup.
Garrincha
To unlock Garrincha’s silver icon, you must:
Earn points with a Brazilian player in at least 15 different Squad Battles matches on Professional difficulty.
If that seems too hard, you can instead:
Play 25 Squad Battles matches on Professional difficulty, with six Brazilian players in your starting XI.
Bobby Charlton
To unlock Bobby Charlton, you need to:
Provide an assist with an English player in 100 different Squad Battles matches on Professional difficulty;
or
Win at least 12 out of 20 matches in the World Tour Superstars League.
Bobby Moore
Bobby Moore’s silver icon is no easy task to earn. If you want to unlock him, you’ll need to:
Play 100 Squad Battles matches using only English starting players on Professional difficulty;
or, if that’s too much,
Win 50 different Squad Battles matches on Professional difficulty, again using an all-English starting lineup.
Eusébio
If you want to unlock Eusébio’s silver icon, you must:
Score at least one goal per match in 100 Squad Battles matches on Professional difficulty, with a Portuguese player in your team;
or
Play 100 matches under the same conditions, but with at least six Portuguese players in your starting XI.
