Official EA FC 25 Season Kickoff Details

Today, a lot of interesting news has arrived regarding FC 25 Ultimate Team. The game modes have changed, there's a new reward system, and the official launch dates have been announced.

The most important information:

• The Web App launches on September 18, and the Companion App on September 19.
• There will be Welcome Packs, but it's not yet known if they will be tradable.
• The number of Champs matches has been reduced.
• Players will receive much more valuable rewards.

Early Access & Launch Timeline

Mark your calendars for the following key dates:

• Companion & Web App Launch: Start building your Ultimate Team from 18 September (WEB) and 19 September (Companion app).
• Early Access: Players who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition can dive into FC 25 on 20 September. EA Play members get a 10-hour trial, while EA Play Pro members enjoy unlimited access.
• Worldwide Launch: Standard Edition players can join from 27 September.

Returning FUT 24 players will also be treated to exclusive rewards, making the transition smoother.

How does the FUT Simple Trader season start?

Originally, everyone expected the Web App to launch on Wednesday, September 18, but it will be one day later. The Web App will launch on September 19, and the Companion App on the 20th. This means that our service will also launch on Thursday, unless any technical issues arise.

FC Season 1: Total Rush

Season 1 brings a fresh approach with Total Rush, a campaign focused on social play and teamwork. This 6-week campaign provides players with objectives across all game modes—FUT, Clubs, and Career Mode—and lets them earn Season Points (SP). These can be collected in any mode, giving players flexibility to unlock rewards their way.

Additionally, World Tour debuts in FC 25, beginning with Spain. Each season will offer nation or league-themed content, allowing players to build squads representing regions like La Liga, Liga F, and Spanish Superstars. Squad Foundations are revamped, giving +2 League Chemistry instead of the standard +1, and weekly Squad Foundation releases will provide special player cards throughout Season 1.

Mode-Specific Changes & Rewards

Football Ultimate Team (FUT) remains the centerpiece, with significant changes to its competitive structure and rewards.

Champions Play-offs

• New Format: The number of games required to qualify for Champions Finals has been reduced to 3 wins out of 5, down from 4 out of 10.
• Additional Entries: Players get 18 total Play-off attempts per season, giving them more chances to qualify.

Champions Finals

The Champions Finals will be more competitive this year, offering increased rewards based on performance. Top finishes will receive substantially better rewards compared to FC 24.

• 200,000 Ultimate Team Coins
• Tradeable 85+ x10 Players Pack
• Tradeable 84+ x10 Players Pack
• Untradable Base Icon Pack
• Untradable 89+ x2 Players Pack

Additionally, the total number of Finals matches has been reduced by 5, making each match more meaningful.

Division Rivals

Your Rivals Division will play a key role in FUT, particularly for Champions Play-offs qualification. Several changes aim to ensure players are competing at their skill level. Notably, the number of wins required for Weekly Rewards is increasing:

• 5 Wins (up from 3) for standard rewards
• 15 Wins for Upgraded Weekly Rewards (up from 7)

This adjustment allows for higher-value rewards, such as in the Elite Division:

• 75,000 Ultimate Team Coins
• Two Tradeable 85+ Player Picks (Pick 1 of 4)
• Untradable 75 Gold Rare Players Pack
• Tradeable 50 Gold Rare Players Pack
• Tradeable Mega Pack
• Two Untradable 83+ TOTW Player Packs

Squad Battles

To make Squad Battles more engaging, the weekly match cap has been reduced from 32 matches to 14. However, additional objectives and challenges remain available for players seeking to continue progressing after the 14 matches.

Evolution, Icons, and Heroes

The Evolution system has undergone a significant overhaul in FC 25. Instead of a flat attribute upgrade, some boosts will now have maximum limits. This allows for more flexibility in selecting players for Evolutions, making the system more accessible.

The Heroes roster is also expanding, with new additions like:

Players who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition will receive an Origin Hero, with their Prime Hero upgrade arriving in late November.

Club Membership & EA Play Rewards

EA introduces a new Club Membership program to reward loyal players who have played previous FC titles. Club Members will receive unique rewards, including:

• Ultimate Team Role++ Evolution
• 2 Club Member Kits

• 3 Club Member TIFO
• 3 Ultimate Team Crests

Additionally, EA Play members will be treated to monthly rewards, such as Ultimate Team Loan Player Items and Draft Tokens.

Pre-Season & UEFA EURO Rewards

Players who participated in the FC 24 Pre-Season or UEFA EURO Journey will get exclusive carryover rewards starting on 10 October. Rewards include:

• 82+ x2 Player Pack for UEFA EURO Journey participants
• Other Pre-season carryover rewards available to claim until 10 November 2024.
